Support and maintenance of the CMS platform for a popular university. The platform allows the content providers to manage content for the university's website, workflows to manage the content with reviews and deployment of the content to the various websites consuming or displaying the content.

FORTUNE 100 RETAILER

Transformation from a traditional print-based content process to a dynamic web environment, enabling marketers to seamlessly manage campaigns and promotions using the CMS platform. Designed a simple solution to manage shared content and promotions for 8 different banners owned by the retailer using a single platform. Solution allows marketers to configure the content for the different sites in advance, preview the site based on future date, schedule deployments, etc.

Fortune 500 CPG

Advertising campaign artwork solution for a multi-branded CPG company. Designed a digital asset store to manage the artwork and the process to manage the life cycle of the artwork from request to delivery to targeted consumers using the custom workflows to automate the flow.

LEADING HEALTH CARE

Design and development of a CMS platform to support management of shared content for the health provider's various customer, business facing websites running on an application portal. Developed a content model to capture content and information about the content such as context, targeting, classification and segmentation information and a delivery model to integrate the content and data with the runtime application portal.

MOBILE MANUFACTURER

Created a content model and repository to help the company manage shared product and marketing content for their 50+ global sites using a single platform. The platform supports the management, delivery and deployment of shared content for both their desktop and mobile sites.

Job Description

  • Analyze user requirements
  • Defined project scope
  • Recommend, design, and develop highly scalable and dynamic web content management systems solutions
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and cost estimation
  • Design workflow and user interface
  • Perform coding
  • Create, implement, configure, and code templates and workflows
  • Study existing systems and identify ways to enhance features and functionalities
  • Create test plans
  • Conduct unit and system testing
  • Write technical documentation
  • Identify and troubleshoot application problems
  • Recommend best practices for coding, database design, and change management processes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Programmer Analysts

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field of study and three years of content management experience or Bachelor’s degree and five years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience.
  • Three years of web content management system development and implementation using Java, JavaScript, SQL, CSS, HTML, JQuery, OpenText CMS Suite, and Adobe Marketing Suite
